Meet Addison: POTS Doesn't Call The Shots Anymore!

POTS was running Addison's life...

Her daily routines were so challenging. Addison shared, "my symptoms got in the way of my weekly dance classes on a regular basis. From getting overheated, to seeing spots, having blackouts, ears ringing, profusely sweating and heart racing. It also got in the way of doing flag at football games."

She just wanted to enjoy her teenage years without huge obstacles at every turn.

Her family tried increasing fluids, taking multiple different salt tablets, and they even contemplated a 12-week POTS program at Cleveland Clinic, where she'd see a nutritionist, physical therapist, and psychologist. They considered this intensive, but Addison wasn’t able to get started in the program for a few months, and her family just wanted her to feel better.

Then, she found Tiffin Family Chiropractic.

Addison's nervous system scans made perfect sense with all the symptoms she had been experiencing for the longest time. She finally had hope to feel better, knowing there actually was something going on and it wasn’t just in her head!

For the first time, Addison had hope that she would be able to do all the things a normal teenager should be able to experience!

And then, her miracle began.

By week 5 of her care plan, Addison was symptom free. She shared, "I felt like I was normal again." She had hope that she would finally be able to do the things she loves.

Addison is absolutely thriving today. She shared, "I can go about my day not stressing if something is gonna happen and how I’m gonna fix it. I could finally do normal things such as walking up stairs and taking showers without it feeling like the hardest challenge to overcome."
