Born for Resilience: Ambrose’s Miracle Story

Ambrose has been a chiro kid all his life, even before he was born. As Dr. Adam’s son, he received gentle, neurologically-focused care throughout pregnancy and from his very first days earthside.

But this sweet boy and his family faced every parent's nightmare when he was just a few weeks old. Out-of-the-blue, Ambrose had a severe infection in his right knee that resulted in surgery, a hospital stay, and lots of stress on both him and his sweet family.

When they came home, he suffered from thrush, diaper rash, digestive sensitivity and consistent spitting up after breastfeeding (despite Mom reducing most allergens from her own diet). It was so heartbreaking to see their little guy go through so much as just a precious one-month-old.

His mom, Cassandra, shared, "When he turned one, I realized I spent so much of his first year of life battling so much fear that another random thing would put us right back in the hospital." And yet, his parents believed in Ambrose's body's ability to heal, and pursued just that through consistent chiropractic care. 

Today, Ambrose is happy, thriving, and full of life! Despite his surgery, Ambrose started crawling at 5.5 months, furniture cruising at 8 months, and walking at 9.5 months! As he's grown, his personality is shining through. He’s a fun-loving goofball who loves to laugh, play, and say “Mama,” “Dada,” and even “stop,” which he’s definitely heard a few times as the second child.

Cassandra continued, "My hope has been restored that the Lord truly is protecting him, healing him all the time, and has a mission and purpose for this little guy! I'm so thankful for the care that Ambrose has received to not just get through all of his life's struggles, but that he is such a thriving and growing boy!"

Ambrose, we love you so. We are in awe of your resilience. Thank you for teaching us to expect more miracles from he "who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think!" Ephesians 3:20
