Stella's Journey From Constant Pain To Joyful Play

Before coming to Tiffin Family Chiropractic, Stella was facing some pretty big challenges. She had severe constipation for over six years, and on top of that, she had trouble focusing—almost like she was in her own world. 

Being non-verbal made it even harder for her to express what she was going through, so she would often resort to self-harming when things got overwhelming. Her family never knew if she was going to have a breakdown from stomach pain or from just feeling completely overwhelmed by everything around her.

She was constantly in fight-or-flight mode, and it was really tough for everyone. 

Stella’s family tried everything they could think of—gluten-free, dairy-free diets, antibiotics, multivitamins, detoxes, and different supplements. She was in occupational therapy and physical therapy, and she was even recommended to take miralax three times a day. They decided against that route, but with all the changes in her diet, Stella was barely eating, and it felt like they were running out of options.

When Stella’s family saw her neurological scans here at Tiffin Family Chiropractic, it was a bit of an eye-opener. It was heartbreaking to see how much stress her nervous system was under. But what really made a difference is seeing how much better it’s been since she started care. Her nervous system has really improved—and Stella has, too. 

The first sign that chiropractic care was working was when Stella started making eye contact and focusing more. It was such a relief for her family to see that shift!

Now, just three weeks into care, Stella is so much more calm and cheerful. The light is back in her face, and she’s even playing with other kids during recess! Before, she’d just walk around, disconnected from everything. She’s like a completely different child now, and it’s been so heartwarming to watch her transform. 

Mom + dad have said "we can’t wait to see what else will change over the next few months as they continue with her care plan".
